It was a pleasure to be a featured artist in duo with David O’Rourke at the Irish Consulate in Manhattan. It was a launch of the Irish Governments “Creative Ireland” initiative. The idea is to build on the unity of the Irish people and the diaspora as experienced in the 1916-2016 celebrations. The concept is to bring together the creativity of artists, business leaders, entrepreneurs and creative people and engage everyone in Ireland for the development of the public good. The ambitious plan includes such goals as all schoolchildren in Ireland having an arts and coding education by 2022.  I was delighted to be asked to be part of this event.
